CLIC

CLIMATE AND CITIZENSHIP

Let’s change the world
one click at a time

About the project

CLIC is an Erasmus+ co-funded project aimed at empowering young people to take action against climate change and become active citizens in their communities. Through training, creative activities, and international collaboration, CLIC wants to equip youth with the knowledge and tools to promote sustainability and influence environmental decision-making.For this reason, in the framework of this project we will create training materials to train young people on how to generate awareness on climate change and we will organize a transnational competition among young people from 4 different European countries: Spain, Italy, Romania, and Portugal.

Our Partnership

CLIC brings together a strong network of organizations committed to youth empowerment and climate action across Europe. The partnership includes:FRAVM – Spain
Asociación Building Bridges – Spain
Enjoy Sicily – Italy
ASALT – Asociatia Sociala a Lucratorilor de Tineret– Romania

OUR EVENTS

Kick Off Event - Madrid

CLIC – Climate and Citizenship took its first big step with an inspiring kick-off meeting in Madrid on November 19, 2024. Hosted by FRAVM, the event gathered project partners from across Europe to spark collaboration and set the course for the months ahead. The day began with a warm welcome and an opportunity for everyone to share their visions and expectations for the project. Together, we revisited the project’s goals and milestones, laying the groundwork to launch the first activities.Highlights of the meeting included a deep dive into the Youth Engagement on Climate Change analysis, setting the stage for valuable research in the coming months. The brainstorming didn’t stop there — partners also collaborated on the first draft of the awareness campaigns, sharing creative ideas such as gamified quizzes to engage young people in dynamic and meaningful ways. With such energy and teamwork in the room, the CLIC journey is off to a strong start — and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

Transnational Partner Meeting in Messina

CLIC – Climate and Citizenship continued its journey with a dynamic transnational partner meeting held in Messina, Italy, on September 18, 2025.Representatives from each organization came together to strengthen collaboration and prepare the next phase of activities. The meeting opened with a reflection on the progress made so far and the shared achievements across the partnership. Partners then planned the upcoming youth training sessions and awareness campaigns that will soon take place in each participating country. These activities will empower young people to understand climate issues more deeply and to express their ideas creatively through a friendly international competition.Another key moment was the presentation of the project’s website and how to make it as engaging and accessible as possible — including defining its visual identity and exploring interactive elements to help young people connect more easily with the project’s content. The day concluded with clear next steps and renewed momentum. With shared purpose and strong cooperation, the CLIC project continues to grow — bringing young people together across Europe to think, act, and create for a more sustainable future.

PROJECT RESULTS

Research Analysis
on Youth Engagement on Climate

As part of the project, this report presents the results of a comparative study on young people’s knowledge, attitudes, and participation in climate action across Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Romania. The research highlights a generation that is concerned, informed, and eager to act, but often faces barriers such as lack of time, limited opportunities, and insufficient access to reliable information. It also emphasizes the key role of social media in shaping awareness and the need for more action-oriented education and support to transform interest into sustained engagement. This analysis provides the foundation for CLIC’s upcoming educational activities and awareness campaigns, designed to empower youth to become active agents of change in their communities. Please, find here on the right our report and learn more about youth engagement on climate across Italy, Spain, Romania, and Portugal.
